QuoroGel®

Nanocrystalline Silver Amorphous Hydrogel for Autolytic Debridement and Biofilm Disruption.

QuoroGel® is a sterile, clear amorphous hydrogel enriched with sustained-release antimicrobial silver ions. It actively donates moisture to dry, sloughy, or necrotic wound beds to stimulate gentle autolytic debridement while maintaining an effective antimicrobial barrier against multi-drug resistant pathogens and biofilm formation.

check_circle Targeted Silver Ion Chemistry: Delivers controlled Ag⁺ without causing tissue staining or cellular toxicity.
check_circle High-Viscosity Cohesion: Conforms intimately to irregular wound cavities and does not run or pool.
check_circle TIME Alignment: Directly addresses Tissue (slough removal) and Infection/Inflammation (bacterial burden).

SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATION

Mechanism of Antimicrobial Debridement

Engineered with a balanced hydro-affinity matrix to simultaneously hydrate non-viable fibrinous matter while neutralizing bacterial colonies.

1

Rehydration of Eschar

Donates physiologically balanced water molecules directly to dry slough and hardened eschar, activating endogenous proteolytic enzymes for natural autolysis without mechanical trauma.

2

Targeted Ionic Silver Ag⁺

Maintains an antimicrobial concentration of active silver ions in the gel matrix, effectively disrupting bacterial cell membrane potentials and inhibiting bacterial DNA replication.

3

Biofilm Prevention

Prevents the re-attachment of free-floating planktonic bacteria and destabilizes the extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) matrix, preventing chronic biofilm recurrence.

CLINICAL PROTOCOL

Approved Clinical Indications

  • check Dry to lightly exuding chronic wounds requiring debridement
  • check Diabetic foot ulcers with stalled yellow/gray slough
  • check Pressure injuries (Stages I to IV) and cavity wounds
  • check First and second-degree burns, donor sites, and abrasions
  • check Wounds at elevated risk of critical colonization or local infection
